BUSINESS EVENTS GRANT
We are thrilled to see that the government is investing in and helping to support the exhibition industry after what has been a very difficult year via the $50 million Business Events Grants program. This program was first announced late last year, aimed at the business events sector with applications having officially opened on Monday 4th January and will remain open until Tuesday 30th March.
What does this mean for you?
If you are thinking of exhibiting at any of the approved business events in 2021 (the list can be found at here) you may be eligible for a grant that will cover up to 50% of the costs associated with participating in the event ranging from $10,000 – $250,000.
This is wonderful news for businesses who are looking forward to sharing their value and offerings to other businesses in a face-to-face format that is key for reaching potential new customers, partners, suppliers and the like. Whilst much of todays business can be done online there is nothing quite like getting to meet and mingle with like minded individuals who share a passion for business and specific industries.
